The origins of the project
Kanten is a French clothing brand made in France. Founded by Stéphane in 2013, the brand has traveled from Berlin to Paris. Kanten means point of view, perspective in Japanese. The inspirations are numerous, and come from Japanese culture, digital arts but also cuisine or music. We offer a modular approach to clothing, working with different colors and materials, as well as ergonomics. Our garments are ergonomic and minimalist, embellished with useful and pleasant features to enable even more immersive use.
Locally produced
Everything is produced locally, from fabric sourcing to the manufacture of prototypes and the production of garments in a garment workshop near Paris. We are committed to circularity and the local economy. This means that we reuse the ends of fabric rolls abandoned by the luxury goods industry. We give them a second life.
By promoting recycling and "made in France", we limit our carbon footprint, something we can't ignore today.
Limited series
We also produce limited editions and have set up a pre-order system to avoid unnecessary stock and loss of goods. You can register to benefit from pre-ordered products on the site at preferential rates.
